Chili/Tacos

Preparation Time: 10 minutes                                       Makes: 8 servings
Cook Time: 1-10 hours depending on cooking method.

  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef, Poultry or Game Meat
  • 1 lg. Green Pepper – Diced
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce, 15 oz.
  • 1 can Petite Diced Tomatoes, 14.5 oz.
  • 1 can Chopped Green Chilies, 4.25 oz
  • 1 can Pinto or Black Beans, 15 oz
  • 1 ½ tsp. Sugar
  • 1 can Kidney Beans, 15.5 oz.- Optional
  • 1 pkt. Chili Seasonings
  • Salt and Cayenne pepper to taste

SLOW-COOKER DIRECTIONS: In large skillet heat oil on medium-high heat, brown meat & drain. Place all ingredients in a Slow-Cooker and stir. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours.

STOVETOP DIRECTIONS: In a large kettle heat oil, brown meat and drain. Add green pepper; sauté for 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer covered for 1 to 2 hours.

TACOS: Brown 1 lb. of meat with 5 tsp. of Chili Seasonings. Assemble tacos as desired.

Ingredients:  Spices, dehydrated onion & garlic and silicon dioxide added to prevent caking.
